We found out a nice shopping place from our china friend today! We decided to go and check it out! It is located slightly further than Grand Ocean!

Took a bus to lao shu jie! as usual, bus fare = 2 dollars

Us who went!

OH, once we reach lao shu jie located at hu quan, the place was extremely dusty and dirty. Like, every step u took, you could see something else coming out around your shoe area!

The entrance of lao shu jie!
We did not shop! Instead, we decided to have our lunch in a western restaurant! The yellow thing is a horoscope thing! One yuan per horoscope!

The thing that pop out! It looks like a chocolate! Inside was a piece of paper. Horoscope in chinese! I had to call ChinKuang to help me read and explain!

Gloria and I!

Bought quite a number of stuff! Junru brought a wig! TAKE A LOOK AT ALL THE BEAUTIFUL LADIES IN OUR HOSTEL!

Reflection ; Although the Lao Shu Jie was a nice place, the area was extremely dirty and while walking, there are construction sites beside you, uneven pavements and rubbish around! the shops along the street sold seafood too! shocked to see a seafood restaurant! Food menu with dog's meat were being pinned on the notice board outside the restaurant! I Don't dare to eat dog's meat! Later eat already all the dogs come running towards me how!

Bought a cup and a spoon at the road stalls!

Saw a mascot along the way! It was a china lady working inside! how tiring!

Dyed my hair!

Process of dying my hair!

After the dye, us being satisfied with the service.

went to arcade to get all the soft toy again!
Reflection ; I think im getting used to the food here! Love bing tang hu lu alot. and I think that the salon service was very good! The name of the salon was "Yes I Do". Like best salon service ever so far in my whole entire life. They wash your hair slowly and the people there are very friendly! No wonder singapore employers hire so many china workers! Their attitudes were very good too. Take for example, the lady inside the mascot was smiling to us even though it was tough working inside! In singapore, only guys would want to work as a mascot as it is a tough job.

Day 31 ; HAPPY CHINA'S NATIONAL DAY!

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY CHINA! THE DAY YOU ALL ARE WAITING FOR IS FINALLY HERE!

GOLDEN WEEK IS HERE! Whereby there is a 8 day holiday and the china people who came from different parts of china are able to go back to their villages to celebrate!

Woke up early in the morning and went out of the hostel to takeaway breakfast and the street was quiet! Ate hamburgar for breakfast!

Reflection ; The tourguide told us that every year's national day they would go back to their villages to celebrate national day with their families. And they would watch the live broadcast on national television even though it was boring. but it was their family tradition to watch it together and bond with each other! Family gathering just to catch up with each other!

Day 30 ; Assignment 2 Presenation

Today, we had our Assignment 2 presentation!

Mr Loh focusing on our presentation!

Roy's Group.

My group.

Adrian's Group.

Polim's Group.

Shun Qing's Group

Gloria's Group.

Reflection ; Our groupmates were assigned to us according to our room numbers for easier communication between groupmates. This was a good method as we had limited time to do everything. Going around to different rooms to do our project is a waste of time and makes it hard for us to get together to get work done.
During my presentation today, I realized that there were a few mistakes in my powerpoint slides! Should have checked my slides even though I was nervous before presenting. I’ve screwed my presentation up today. Too nervous I guess.

Day 28 ; Industrial visit with LSCT!

Went for Industrial visiting today!

First thing we saw was a buffalo in the industrial area!

A hardworking worker carrying some chemical product.

An electronic machine located outside the industry building. Very dangerous as you might injure yourself if you accidentally place your hand inside.

The Ion exchange area.

The caution sign we noticed at the end of the trip!

A photo that was taken after seeing the caution sign!

Photo for friend!

Reflection ; I have no idea why we visited the medicinal industry building today. Felt that I had wasted my time there as we spent 1 hour to and fro in the transport to the industrial visit. Although I felt travelling from 1 area to another was time consuming, 40 minutes of visiting the industry without exposing us to the processes and steps of any procedure was a total waste of time! I gained no knowledge and we were given a talk about the place in Chinese, under the scorching sun!

The groupphoto we took after the cable car! OH, and i accidentally knock onto the stand supporting the umbrella! HURTS YOU KNOW!

After wu dang shan, all of us got an icecream! Although i was cold, we still eat icecream together!
Reflection ; There are a total of 6000plus steps up wu dang shan and i can't believe that i actually manage to go so high in around 2 hours! amazingly fast! I was actually happy when i reached the top of Wu Dang Shan! it is like, i've achieve something! I will always remember today as today is the day whereby i went up the highest mountain i've ever climb, experience the superly cold air when tho im wearing like 3-4 layers of clothes! my fingers were numb and i can barely feel my feet! However, while climbing, we were all sweating as it was very tiring! How i wish Singapore weather will be cooler!
