Day 11 ; Ming Yu's and Shun Qing's Birthday!

First IS module ever since we've been to WUST!

IS MODULE; Traditional Chinese Philosophy

Rushed for lesson in the morning and was shocked that we were combining with LSCT people for lecture!

During lecture, most of us were still sleepy but somehow the teacher's teaching was quite excitingly! Our teacher, named ANNA, spoke fluent english! learnt some history about Liu Bei, the Three Kingdom, played on video to show us what happened and all! A very exciting and interesting video to watch.

Us with our teacher Anna, she would only be there for 1 lesson of our IS! How sad right! Her way of teaching very interesting somemore!

After lesson, we went to have our lunch at a western eatery! US all!

The menu and the chicken chop I ordered! Very nice right! The meat there is very tender and nice! Loved it!

After our delicious lunch, we went to the field to prepare to celebrate Mingyu's and Shunqing's Birthday!

We surprised them on the track! and we played the cake smashing game! wheeeee love cream!

AND, we walked back to the hostel like that!

While waiting for my hostel room to be opened, we showered together in shunqing's room!

at night, met china students to plan for our next outing! which is next tuesday to get mandarin oranges! met, small eyes, ling-pu-jing, chenling, doudou and liu li.

Reflection; First time knowing china's culture! Learnt alot about it! Our chinese culture IS teacher, Anna, although youthful looking is already a mother of two. Looks can be be deceiving huh! And i've decided to try all kinds of food in china! Woo. Kinda scared bcause i had diarrhea for like 2 days already! God bless me!

Day 10 ; Military army!

While going to class today, i saw the following.

China people carrying the booth together as a team.

Their year 1s have to go for military training! for both male and female.

Their KFC is the best man. Their Zinger was not bad and they had some prawn burger that had prawns inside that were super fresh. Combine with the sauce they added, atmosphere and the people around, KFC PRAWN BURGER WAS NICE TO THE MAX!

Bought some bicuits from the bakery shop! loved it. Their way of packaging the biscuit was rather fascinating.

The biscuit i like! Got sunflower seed if im not wrong. If not it has to be some nut!

There is instant hun tun! add hot water and viola! huntun!

Reflection; I realized that Singapore depend on Mr bangladeshi workers alot. Take for example, clearning simple rubbish or building simple stage we also need to hire them to get the job done. By comparing us and the china, the people do the moving of items by themselves! Regardless whether the item is heavy or not, they will by all means do it as a team. Very bonded and heartwarmthing to see as they are determined that they can achieve something themselves.

The military training in china amazes me because the ladies in the school had to be part of it too. Being disciplined and able to serve their country, as well as being proud of their homeland. In Singapore, even some guys complain of being tired. Therefore, i think that the ladies in china are really strong, mentally and physicall. Train to be a warrior. woooo

Day 9 ; Happy Birthday Rebecca!

The surprise I mentioned yesterday was, TO BUY A BIRTHDAY CAKE FOR REBECCA!

HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY TO YOU, REBECCA CAI YI JUN!


While dragging Rebecca off from the group that went to buy the birthday cake, the group got to see how the cake was being done.

The huge cake was packed for us to bring it back to the campus to prevent Rebecca the birthday girl to notice it!

So around 12am, while me and rebecca was having our supper, the OIP group carried the cake and tried to surprise her by knocking on our door in the middle of the night! BUT, before they even knock, we could hear noises from outside! FAIL! HAHA. But it is the sincerity that matters!

Since the cake was full of cream, we had a food fight! In the middle of the night! wooo.

Our hostel became full of cream, on the floor, walls and even on our bed! Had a hard time cleaning the area.

The next day, we went to school to have our BPE lesson again, followed by a quiz and flexsim. i think i will lose my temper while doing flexsim. Can die man.

Went to the school canteen level 2 to have a look. the place is super misty and smoky. but the food smell nicer!

The chef making the "ban mian" looking thing! But it is not ban man! I ordered some beef sliced noodles!

After lunch, we had free and easy time! Did some feet exercising by helping Gloria to massage. Need 2 people to help me balance! Quite tiring to use feet to massage!

After massging, the room service lady came to help us change our bedsheet! Have got a new bed sheet to sleep on! Clean and white ones!

Slept through the evening and somehow.. reb open the window to allow the cool air to come in to the room! and.. when we woke up, the whole room is infested with flies!

Look at the light! There's like 200 over flies in the room! Around the light, wall and floor. EVERYWHERE. AHHH.

So, we inform the Pest control team to come to help us dust off the bugs! the pest control team was inclusive of Yanmeng, CK and Zhongrong! Super efficient team! Cleared most of the bugs and killed almost half of it! Plus, they helped us to sweep the area after dusting all the bugs. most of the bugs landed on our bed. and our bedsheet was ruined! PLUS, we just changed it! Have got no choice but to flip the bedsheet over to sleep on it.

Reflection; I think it is great to spend your birthday with your friends as well as your family and i realised how friends make a great difference in our life. Being there helping one and other when problem arise, celebrating and enjoying life together.

OH, and when my hostel room was infested with bugs, I really hate them. I won't even kill an ant. I wil normally blow them away or flick them off. But there are too many flies in the hostel room! I recall everytime, when there's a beetle or something at home, I would use a container to trap it and leave it inside till the next morning. BUT NOW, THERE ARE SO MANY BUGS IN MY ROOM. I had no choice but to try and help to kill some. I've sinned.

Day 8 ; Freezing day

Woke up early in the morning and went for BPE lesson. So far, we only have got BPE lesson. Our IS module teacher is either sick if not on leave, or else the teaching plan clash or some kind. Hope that it will not push back the lessons to the last few days of our stay in Wuhan or we will have a tight schedule that we doesn't allow us to rest.

We had a 3% quiz on our 2nd day in class. How stressful is that! Luckily it was an open book test. However, the way the quiz was structured was like testing our english instead of our knowledge on BPE.

After the test! woo happy already! behind me is the school track and the sea! it is freezingly cold today. the weather is changing drastically. yesterday was extremely hot, today is like cold and windy. free aircon during the day you know!

After lesson, we.. WENT FOR A RUN AGAIN. This time, we ran on the track! I ran 5 rounds and my muscles could not take it already. Especially so because of yesterday training. Whoa really training to become a dragon!

Went out to have our dinner as well as getting something for tmr! wheeee

During the night, when reb and I wanted to cook water, the water is BLUR, MISTY and SMOKY. Like using limewater to test for carbon dioxide or something. The water quality resembles barley. After letting the water settle, the portion below was clear and the portion above was misty. Different weight or something? Soon after, the smoky area is gone. I think there is some chemical inside that is used to sterilize the water in china. But.. isn't chemical harmful for the body??

GUESS WHAT! Just before going to shower, I saw something on the floor inside the toilet. I was so scared it was a head or what you know! Then i saw it was the VOLLEYBALL. STUCK there in the toilet hole. HAHAHA luckily never drop in.. or else... god bless (:

After showering, Gloria came over and we cooked our supper in the water cooker! Even though the water was smoky, we still used it! Should be clean.. right... ?

FINAL PRODUCT. Can be eaten already! But we spill some on the floor. Singapore blood still flowing in our veins! Being KIASU. LOVE BEING KIASU. wooooo.
