Day 16; 1st presentation!

IS in the morning!

All of us geared up in our listening headphones!

as well as the teacher.
After lesson went for lunch and prepare for our lesson in the afternoon! Did our usual quiz followed by presentation.

Reb and I. The 3rd group presenting!

After presenting, we felt a sense of satisfaction!

1st group presenting.

2nd group presenting!

Followed by Eshlyn, Shun Qing and Xanier

Junru, Gloria and Anyu

Reflection; Junru is well already but Siti is now sick! Get well soon Siti! Today, we had a wonderful experience of using the headphones to listen in class! First, the IS teacher told us to wear our headphones so he could teach. Everybody started taking out dry and wet tissue paper to wipe the headphones. The headphones were coated with a layer of dust! OMG! Once we all put on our headphones, the teacher started to teach!

The usage of headphones was quite a wonderful experience! The volume of the headphones could be adjusted to your liking. I think this is a good way of learning as the students are all focused in listening only to what the teacher is talking about. However, we must be discipline enough to not to mute it as well as while putting on the headphones.

Day 15; Harvesting oranges!

Woke up in the afternoon to get oranges!
Bus trip! Reb and I!

Reached the orange farm!

Off we go! The orange trees along the long stretch of dirt path! The whole plantation was full of it! And there was a pond! This can provide fishes for the farmers!
We were told that we were able to go in any lane of the lanes plantation and start plucking oranges from any trees to eat! As well as collect oranges to bring out of the farm to eat at home!

A group of us went into a lane surrounded by trees and oranges! While walking, we saw a few of this HUGE bug on the leaves!

Us with china students!

We had fun trying out all the sour oranges! Not experienced enough to know which were the ripe ones though.

The Bs! HAHA. Something wrong with us! Guess that the oranges were too sour!
After our visit to the plantation and trying of the sour oranges, we went back to school to get ready for our BBQ!

Us walking to the BBQ area! Located just beside campus! One of the china student led us and brought us out by taking the short cut which crosses the school's supermarket! We didn't know there was a supermarket in our campus and we always walked all the way out! OMG!

The BBQ area! Looks like a campfire area! All of us gathered around, choosing which pit we wanted and settled down!

Us gathering around the BBQ pit!

The thing we used to put our food on and we are playing with it. In the meanwhile, the guys were busy starting the fire!

REB AND I AGAIN! preparing the food, adding the oil, pepper, chilli powder, soya sauce and salt! NICE!

The fire starter and chef of the day! woooo because of them, we get to eat!

All of us helping around!

While cooking, the ICT people started setting off the fireworks they bought from one of the china students! When the firework shot up and come down abit before it explodes out into million of smaller pieces, I thought it was going to fall on me because it was so near us!
Reflection; I appreciate what the China students did for us! First, they come all the way down to our hostel to plan with us on what we wanted to do, followed by them planning the trip to the orange plantation! The bbq food they bought, washed and prepared, charcoal and booking of the buses and the bbq pit were what they did themselves! 8 of them helped to organize it! How good of them! And I think they did a good job!
The plantation trip today was an enjoyable one but a lot of oranges were wasted though. Many of us plucked the oranges, tasted it and throw it on the floor because it was too sour! Some of them even start a fire to start cooking sweet potatoes! Destroying the fertile land. How can! Evil people. The plantation is the farmer's only source of income you know!

We decided on 1 of the restaurant along the street beside our school! Ordered our dinner dishes and beer! CHEERIOS PEOPLE!

We were being served 6 dishes and a huge boiling hot plate of soup! Look at the dishes! Extremely delicious! Look like home cooked food. yummmyyyy!

OH, I forgot to mention! We went with LSCT people to the restuarant and apparently, MDE, 10 of us squeezed onto 1 table! Very bonding huh! We ordered 2 huge bowl of rice and everybody start scooping rice out from it! I Ate 3 bowl of rice! Wooo~

However, we still feel like eating something after our tasty dinner! So we decided to eat along th road stall! Look at their miniature stool looking chair!

Reflection ; I think Time Management is kind of an important factor! Take today as an example, The previous night everybody were preparing for ShunQing's Birthday, preparing for practical test, mock test and exercise 2! followed by morning lesson, afternoon lesson and dine out at night! so many things to do right! still need to prepare for tmr harvesting orange day! Can't wait! Ciao people! I like the tomato 冰糖葫芦!

Every weekend, we will be visiting different area of Wuhan, China! Yesterday we went to visit the cultural areas and today we went for sight-seeing and shopping!

The area which we went for sight seeing!

Group B and the girls! Except junru not there ):

The place where we went for sightseeing was HUGE. They sold kites and windmills there! Guess it was a tourist spot to attract tourists as we felt like flying the kite as soon as we reached the place! The wind was blowing super strong and there was this guy, sitting on the floor, slowly reeling out the kites. One by one. And the kites were connected to each other! It flew extremely high up in the sky to attract tourist via the long trail of kites looking thing! The area was just behind the sea! we enjoyed the sea breeze as well!
China bank! They have got all types of bank, even agriculture bank exist here!

The 1st playground we came across in China!

That's us who CAN'T WAIT TO EAT LUNCH! Hungry like nobody business! Look at yanmeng! Eating his chicken already! had to EAT BEFORE GOING SHOPPING/PLAY! If not we wouldn't have energy to do anything!

My lunch! Egg porriage and chicken stick! The chicken stick was super nice! I love to eat chicken man! Luckily KFC is within walking distance from our hostel!

The WALMART logistic people always used to make as an example on! ESP Service marketing!

After eating, we went to look for an arcard to play the kiap kiap! Changed 10 RMB for tokens and we caught alot alot small little keychain-looking softtoy! super fun!

The huge shopping area
A hardworking man!
Reflection; When we went shoppign today, i realised that being able to speak chinese is easier to live my life in china. Most of the china people here only know 1 language. which is chinese. In sinagpore we have 2 languages to learn.
Oh, one of our classmate is sick! Her name is Junru and she is admitted to the hospital today. The school's hospital have got doctor and they gave her the drip! Glucose and sodium hydroxide drop! Needles poking here and there in search of her vein. she must be suffering. Glad that both her roomies are taking good care of her now! It is good to have a caring room mate that cares for you! goodnight people!
