We're going to Water rafting and waterfall visiting today!
Early in the morning, the Lecturers asked whether we wanted to back out from the water-rafting activities. None of us of the MDE Society backed out! So enthusiastic of us all!
Buses came, went up the bus and GUESS WHAT. The bus driver is the best driver in my whole entire life! He managed to speed in a 1 way lane and drove in the opposite direction. The entire journey to Lu Lin took 4 hour. We set off at 8am and the ride was super jerky with the bus driver horning at anything possible and was like driving into other cars coming from the opposite direction when he himself was on the wrong lane. So dangerous you know! placing our lives in DANGER.
Infront of us was the tour guide. He was familiar with Lu Lin and telling us the safety precautions to take before the water rafting. The tour guide was very friendly. I like! (:
Sceneries along the way. Soon after, most of us fell asleep in the bus as we are all tired. OH and along the way, we saw chicken, cow, horses and bulls!
We had our lunch as soon as we reached the place. we had our lunch. Water rafting will start after we have our lunch and we had to buy the "cao xie" grass sandal if we are either afraid of slipping or we wore the wrong shoe. e.g. heels or sports shoe.
Most of us bought the "cao xie" as it only cost 2RMB and we will be having a wonderful experience wearing it while water rafting.
The "cao xie" supposed to be comfortable but we had trouble walking in it as it is free sized, however, our friends looked cute wearing it as some of us had to make do with a "cao xie" much smaller than their feet.
During the whole water rafting journey, we couldn't take any pictures as it was risky that we might bring our camera for a swim. All of us were drenched after the rafting. I partnered Rebecca and i feel that it is not as adventurous than what I've expected. but, it was a fun experience as it suppose to be a romantic ride. Along the ride journey, there were people selling water, fruit, food and some bamboo stick that acts like a "water gun" to shoot your friends! A good way to earn money from the tourist as well as allow the tourist to enjoy the ride.
Throughout the water rafting journey, there will be only 1 camera man at a particular spot. After the water rafting journey ended, there is a booth selling the picture he took for us. We have to wait for our picture to appear in the computer screen and shout "zhe ge zhe ge!" to the person to tell the person we want it before the picture move on to other shots.

After the water rafting, we board the bus again and he brought us to the waterfall area.
When walking, I took some random photo of us! There are a lot of things we are able to see while walking. If we were to take the boat, we would have missed out alot of things! Luckily we walked to the waterfall!
The entrance of the waterfall!
Long way to the waterfall but it is worth it in the end!
Walking along the rocky riverbed. The picture on the left is the start of where we came from and the picture on the right is the end of where we are going! One end to another.
Beauty waterfall! wheeee.
Group B!
Fresh air, Fresh people, Energetic us!
Soon after, we were being assigned to our hotel rooms and we heard from the tour guide that there is a performance for us to watch! It started at 8pm! we all gathered and followed the tourguide to the stage to watch!
Fire performance, acting, role playing, dancing, singing and instrumental all in one night!
The fire performance is the last performance, they place the fire-lit torch in their mouth and blow the fire to make it HUGE. like those you see in Singapore's live charity show. Super amazing in real life! then they ran to the campfire wood area and blow on it! It caught fire as well as the attention of the audience!
All of us are excited and the audience were awed to have viewed it! The atmosphere was great and the locals are enjoy themselves too by creating a human train running around the campfire!
Us, Singaporeans enjoying ourselves too! They played the song ' left, left, right, right, jump, jump' or something song and the locals jump along to the song as well as us! one word, FUN!
The camp fire in the middle and us all around it! wheeeeeeeeeeee.
