Day 22 ; Coca Cola Factory

We went to visit Coca Cola Factory today!

Toured outside the factory while waiting to go in!

Outside of the factory! The parameter of the building!

While walking in the building, we saw the shape of a coke bottle made out of badges! There were also a lot of different design of badges of coca cola and the different countries that support Coca Cola Factory!

Upon arrival, we were being led to the showing hall to watch a video of how Coca Cola expanded in China and which companies they gave sponsership to and how they prospered!

The free bottle of Coke they gave us! The Coke was super gassy but nice! However, we had to return the bottle as they were going to reuse the bottle!

After viewing the video, we proceeded to the area whereby they showed us the processes of how the bottles are being washed, scanned, checked for cracks, adding of the coke and so on! However, we were not supposed to take any photos inside the factory! I managed to snap a few pictures. HAHAAA

Their showcase room of those Limited edition item!

Those little cute can of COCA COLA! The escort design for the Beijing Olympics games 2008!

The huge wall full of Coca Cola caps of different languages!

The advertisment of the polar bear of Coca Cola!

Me and Yanmeng!

After walking for so long, we decided to rest for awhile while waiting for the others!

A statue of a hard working Coca cola delivery man! Very muscular! WOOOO!

ALL OF US AFTER THE VISIT! HAPPY because we had something in our bags ;D
Reflection ; After visiting the Coca Cola Factory, I realized the processes there were almost similar to the different modules in my course. International Supply Chain Management, Business Process and Quality Engineering and Logistics Management were all linked! For example, the supply of the bottled cokes must be present in order to start the process, after the bottles are there, the people will be sitting infront of a special lighting equipment to check for cracks in each and every bottle! Once they spot a faulty bottle, they will remove it from the production line. After that, the finished processed bottles are being packed and stored in the warehouse ready to be delivered to the customers who ordered them!
OH! and I think that they are environmental friendly as their machines doesn't emit harmful gases and they reuses and recycle their bottles as well as their bottles cap! All their coke here were stored in glass bottles which can be recycled and reused! Compared with Singapore, Singapore's Coke are packaged in plastics in which have to be melted before reusing.
